We, TESL sem 4 students were assigned to watch a play in town. Most of us went there, scheduled on the night of april fool.. The play started at 8.30p.m. 'Passion' by Joe Hasham to me is quite seductive play, few sexual arousal activity and silent play. The most repeated utterances in this play is in the beginning and once in the end of the play. "Life is so strange.. For two years I have been betrayed.."
In general, it is all about passion of love, men fighting for a women or vise versa, the cofusion in love based on the passion in dancing. In the end we revealed that the two women are actually lesbians. The expressions of the feelings by the characters and the technical sounds portray the conflicts in the play. In conclusion, I do not really understand what the play is all about, but I think the main character has done a very great job in exposed the feelings of passion. So did the other few characters, they had done really well and the message had conveyed successfully even there is not much utterances in the play.
I had really enjoyed the moment, and later, when we have the opportunity, we would have arrange the second trip to watch another fantastic play.
